Dear Parents,
Readalong fundraiser
Our ‘Readalong’ fundraiser is really gathering momentum. Charlie Gavan from Ms. Killane’s senior infants and Arham Khan from Mr. Walsh’s second class and Ms. Russell’s Oasis class read stories from their class readers on the intercom. Charlie read ‘Sea-Lion Splash’ and Arham read ‘Cow takes a Bow’. Other classes have been engaging in some DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) time at 12.15pm each day. Many thanks to Ms. Donnelly, Ms. Russell and Ms. Brennan for all their help organising this initiative.
Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment
Our Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment was reviewed by the Board of Management recently. This will be uploaded on our school website in the coming days. Please feel free to give feedback on our school compliance and any suggestions for improvement.
Cake Sale & Big Easter Raffle Fundraiser – Thursday 30th March
Our Parents’ Association (PA) is organising a Cake Sale and Big Easter Raffle Fundraiser on Thursday 30th March. A notice will be issued closer to the time.
A raffle is a big part of this fundraiser and there is always great excitement among the boys when it comes to the possibility of winning a prize. The PA would be very grateful if parents or businesses would donate prizes for this raffle, especially any prizes suitable for the boys themselves. The PA would like to thank you for your continued support and generosity.
