Dear Parents,

Registration for First Holy Communion and Confirmation for 2025

St. Mary’s Parish Centre recently opened registration for next year’s First Holy Communion and Confirmation. This applies to our current first class boys (First Holy Communion) and our current fifth class boys (Confirmation). Please check the parish website for more information.

St Mary’s Boys and Scoil Mhuire Girls National School’s Sports Day – Sunday 9th June at 2pm

The countdown to the School Sports Day continues and with just over a week we’ve opened the payment portal on Aladdin. If you have a daughter in the Girl’s School too then you only need to pay once. The payment window is open in both schools until midnight on Thursday 6th June. We’ll then compile a list and check off all families who have prepaid on the gate. Otherwise, it’s CASH ONLY AT THE GATE on the day.

If you’ve been before you’ll know it’s an action packed day with races and competitions for each class group. There will be egg & spoon, three-legged races, 60/80/100m dashes, sack races, the tiny tots race and the infamous parents races too. There’s also plenty of games, with penalty shoot outs, Poc Gearr, Hula Hoops and bouncy castles to keep everyone entertained.

And as the Sports Day has grown so has the need for volunteers. The organising committee is appealing for all families who are able to volunteer a parent to manage a station just for 30 minutes. Follow this link to choose your spot and sign up to volunteer today.
